Video Guide:
Trigger is an S-Rank Electric character who utilizes the Stun W-Engine Type. Trigger is a versatile combatant, excelling in both precision sniping and rapid-fire engagements. Her adaptability makes her a formidable force in any team composition, capable of handling various combat scenarios with precision and efficiency.
Trigger’s Basic Attack:
Let’s break down Trigger’s basic attack arsenal. Trigger’s primary basic attack is Regular Shooting, which serves as the foundation for her combat style. Trigger fires a four-stage shot forward, with the first three stages dealing physical damage and the fourth stage dealing electric damage. This attack is ideal for mid-range engagements and can be used to pressure enemies with consistent damage output.
Trigger’s Basic Attack Variations:
After performing Regular Shooting, Trigger can shift into different attack variations based on your strategy. Let’s explore these variations.
Crouching Snipe: Trigger enters Sniper Stance, continuously firing electric damage shots at enemies. During this stance, Trigger can automatically evade enemy attacks once every twelve seconds. Successfully hitting enemies with continuous shots or charged counterattacks grants Snipe points, which enhance her follow-up attacks.
Support Shooting: When Call points are sufficient and Trigger is not the active character, she automatically fires a support shot, dealing electric damage and accumulating stagger value. This move is considered an Additional Attack and provides invincibility during its execution.
Trigger’s Special Attack adds a new layer of depth to her combat style.
Dash Slash: Trigger performs a quick dash forward, slashing enemies with electric damage. This move is great for closing gaps and dealing burst damage.
Aerial Shot: When energy is sufficient, Trigger performs a dash slash followed by a powerful aerial shot, dealing massive electric damage. This move also grants invincibility and enhances her next Support Shooting by removing the Call point cost.
Trigger’s Dodge:
Dodging is a crucial aspect of Trigger’s mobility and defense. Let’s look at her dodge abilities. Slide: Trigger performs a quick dash to evade incoming attacks. Proper timing can negate damage and set up counterattack opportunities. Swift Shot: During a dodge, Trigger can quickly fire a shot, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies. Spin Shot: After triggering Extreme Evasion, Trigger turns around and fires a rapid shot, dealing electric damage. This move provides invincibility during its execution.
Trigger isn’t just a powerhouse in combat; she also brings valuable support to her team.
Rapid Replacement: Trigger swiftly assists or switches to an ally, providing beneficial effects such as damage support or combo extensions.
Close-range Block: Trigger parries an enemy attack, accumulating stagger value and providing defensive support to allies.
Close-range Shot: After parrying, Trigger follows up with a series of slashes and a powerful shot, dealing electric damage and providing invincibility during the move.
Trigger’s Chain Attack:
Trigger shines in team-based strategies with her chain attack, enabling coordinated attacks for maximum impact.
Continuous Snipe: Trigger and her team launch a series of powerful electric damage shots at a single target. This move requires team synergy to activate and provides invincibility during its execution.
Charged Snipe: When the Resonance Level reaches Extreme, Trigger fires a devastating shot at a wide range of enemies, dealing massive electric damage. This move also grants invincibility.
Trigger’s core skills enhance her combat effectiveness as you progress.
Core Passive: Support Shooting: When Trigger lands a finishing shot in Crouching Snipe, she applies the Trigger Special Attack effect to the entire team, increasing their damage output and stagger capabilities.
Energy Release: When specific team conditions are met, Trigger’s critical rate and stagger value increase, further enhancing her offensive potential.
For Trigger’s ability level priority, first level her basic attack, second level her special attack, third level her chain attack, fourth level her dodge, and lastly level her assist.
For those aiming to optimize Trigger's performance in endgame content, here's a breakdown of her recommended stats at level sixty. Impact should be two hundred, attack should be two thousand, H.P. should be ten thousand, defense should be eight hundred, critical rate should be sixty percent, and critical damage should be one hundred twenty percent.
Trigger’s Signature W-Engine has a twenty-four percent critical rate substat. When Trigger launches Additional Attack to hit the enemy and cause electric damage, the target's defense is reduced by twenty percent for five seconds. Passive effects with the same name cannot be stacked. When this effect is triggered, if Trigger is not the on-field character, Trigger gains one layer of Energy, up to eight layers, and can be triggered at most once in the same move. When launching Enhanced Special Attacks, all Energy is consumed. For each layer of Energy consumed, Trigger’s impact increases by three percent and the damage caused increases by three percent. Up to eight layers can be stacked, and it lasts for eight seconds. The duration of each layer of effect is calculated separately.
Trigger’s Mindscape Cinema enhances her abilities and provides unique bonuses. Let’s go through each.
Mindscape Cinema One is unknown.
If you have enough pulls to either get Trigger’s Mindscape Cinema One or her Signature W-Engine. I would recommend pulling Trigger’s Signature W-Engine because it provides a lot of impact, which is valuable for Stun characters. Her mindscape cinema one will likely not improve her impact value at all.
Mindscape Cinema Two reduces enemy defense by ten percent for a certain duration after hitting them.
Mindscape Cinema Three increases Basic Attack, Dodge, Support, Special Attack, and Chain Attack levels by two.
Mindscape Cinema Four is unknown.
Mindscape Cinema Five increases Basic Attack, Dodge, Support, Special Attack, and Chain Attack levels by two.
Mindscape Cinema Six is unknown.
If you are a whale, I would recommend stopping at Mindscape Cinema Two because it reduces the enemy's defense. This effect is great for any team. I would also recommend pulling for D.P.S. Mindscape Cinema over support ones.
If you have Qingyi’s S-Rank signature W-engine, Ice-Jade Teapot, you can use that. It increases Trigger’s impact for every stack of tea-riffic. At fifteen stacks, your team’s damage is increased as well.
A S-Rank standard gacha W-Engine that Trigger can use is The Restrained, Lycaon’s signature W-Engine. When an attack hits an opponent, Daze and Damage from basic attacks increase.
An alternate S-Rank standard gacha W-Engine that Trigger can use is Hellfire Gears, Koleda’s signature W-Engine. While off-field, Trigger’s energy regeneration increases, and when using an EX Special Attack, Trigger’s Impact is increased.
A battle pass A-Rank W-Engine that Trigger can use is Six Shooter. Trigger gains a charge stack every three seconds, up to six stacks. When using an EX Special Attack, all charge stacks are consumed, and each stack increases the daze inflicted on enemies.
A free-to-play accessible A-Rank W-Engine that Trigger can use is Precious Fossilized Core. When the opponent’s H.P. is no lower than fifty percent, Trigger inflicts more daze. When the opponent’s H.P. is no lower than seventy-five percent, the bonus is further increased.
An alternate free-to-play accessible A-Rank W-Engine that Trigger can use is Steam Oven. For every ten energy accumulated, Trigger’s impact is increased.
A free-to-play B-Rank W-Engine that Trigger can use is Arrow. Trigger’s attacks inflict more daze on the primary opponent.
Trigger’s optimal Drive Disk set is Shockstar Disco. Its two-piece set effect increases impact. Its four-piece set effect makes it so that Trigger’s basic attack, dash attack, and dodge counters inflict more Daze upon the primary enemy. Additionally, use two Swing Jazz disks to increase energy regeneration.
For Drive Disk four, use a critical rate or critical damage main stat. For Drive Disk five, use an electric damage percent main stat. For Drive Disk six, use an impact main stat.
For drive disk substats prioritization, prioritize either Critical Rate or Critical Damage, then prioritize Attack Percent, and lastly either Penetration or Flat Attack.
If you are using Trigger with Silver Soldier Anby, then you can use Plugboo or Electroboo.
Trigger’s best team is herself, Silver Soldier Anby, and Astra Yao. Another premium team is Trigger, Zhu Yuan, and Astra Yao. A standard gacha team is Trigger, Harumasa, and Rina. An alternate standard gacha team is Trigger, Anton, and Grace. A free-to-play variation is Trigger, Harumasa, and Soukaku.
I go over a guide to Pulchra next.
